I'm in agreement - the school system's food (shown on the show) is almost total crap. I love that he just wants them to try a stir fry, or a burrito with homemade stuff inside of it, or freshly made foccacia bread! He isn't asking them to eat organice kale. Go go Jamie!!!

Anyone who wants to make me dinner from scratch is more than welcome to. :D I'm just wishing it were finally summer so I'd have more in-season vegetables. I'm getting tired of carrots and potatoes. Anyway, no, I don't understand it, either. Even if kids really *like* unhealthy food, it doesn't mean they won't also like healthy food. Might as well try to balance out the unhealthy with a little more healthy. They're kids after all.

Who *actually* buys Healthy Choice meals? I worry that those all have too much sodium and all that jazz. (Though I may have succumbed recently to buying Amy's Kitchen frozen meals. I'm sorry. :() But seriously, it's not a good choice if few people use it. And I find it hard to believe that most people are eating those for lunch, especially kids. Try guessing Lunchables next time.
