The least change in our point of view,
gives the world a pictorial air.

I suspect I’ve used this quote before, but I’ve decided that’s OK. It’s one of my favorites and will withstand repeating.
I know I’ve posted about this spider before.
He lives outside my daughter’s bedroom window and is known in our household as “Facebutt”:
Not the most beautiful face, but my, what a lovely home.
I’m feeling a bit quiet today. It’s chilly, I was away from my computer all weekend (I have nearly 300 items in my reader and a fair amount of email that I’m ignoring for now), and I’m tired- such a bummer to start the week off tired.
I think maybe I’ll make up a pot of tea, turn on some music, and do a bit of decorating for fall. Or, maybe I’ll indulge myself and just sit and read curled up in an afghan.
How do you get going on days you just want to fritter away?

300 items in your reader! Weekends are exceptionally quiet for my Google Reader. I have to be diligent to NOT exhaust my supplies of things to read from there. Of course, it helps when I have a lot of work to do. Or fascinating knitting to work on.
I had a good weekend for once.
Where do you get all these diverse spiders? I don't think I'd get close enough to a spider to see how different they all are. That, and my little brother is convinced every spider he sees is a black widow. Doesn't help.

Hi Robin,
I was thinking about you the other day because they have a magazine over here called "Green Mom." You should write for them! If you don't already know about this magazine, facebook me your address and I will send you a copy. Hope all is well!

Oh weekends…and mondays!

Our house is covered with webs from the very same type of stripey spider!

Stephanie, I don't read all the items in my reader, but I do subscribe to the full feeds of some online newsfeeds. So I wind up with a LOT. I'm glad to hear you had a good weekend!
kitty UK, I "facebooked" you and felt a little silly doing it. I think I'm too old to get used to social media! I can barely handle social in the real world!
please sir…you said it!
heidi, I'd never noticed these until recently, and now I see them everywhere! But when I do see them, they're always busy wrapping up a stink bug or a housefly…so they are definitely earning their keep.
