Today for your viewing pleasure we have the Grapevine Beetle.
Nearly an inch long, it flies in leisurely, swinging arches, and is easily confused with the three hummingbirds that like to buzz right over our heads like gleefully drunken frat boys.
Schrothtastic does not like bug pictures, and for that I apologize.
I, however, think this guy’s hangdog expression is really cute. I regret I had no grapes to feed him. I did release him in the wineberries, though; I hope they act as a fair substitute.
